You Lucky Doggette---You will be in Nashville on Mardi Gras Feb. 21st.....Playing the National Underground--How Cool!---Ya'all will have to do a Francais song or two.. Vagabonde?--with a squeeze box maybe.\
Ya know???
"She goes squeeze me, come on and squeeze me, come on and Tease me like you do,
I'm so in love with you
Mama's got a squeeze box,
Daddy never sleeps at night
She goes in and out and in and out
and in and out and in and out..."

Sitting here listening to "Everything to Me" which we purchased at Garden Deva's open house. To get through the holidays I've put my precious son somewhere deep in my heart for now; he died 12/2/2008. That is why I so much enjoyed your singing "And When I dIe"; because I had my first grandchild born 9/5/2008. Her uncle never met her; but she is the best of both my worlds.
I cry with this song; I need to cry and you have allowed than in me again

You did the opening of the Myriad Botanical Gardens in OKC. Recently. I'm The little ole guy in the wheelchair that had to show the children what to do with the fountain.
I enjoyed your singing and see the beauty of your music.
Thank you for entertaining us. It was great to see you smile, laugh and enjoy entertaining us. God bless you girl.
God bless and thanks for a moment of joy to see the children go bananas in the fountain and listen your heart singing.
God bless and ty , WC

Just bought "All Fall Down", and absolutely LOVE every song, especially Build Your House, Dry Bones and Dust, Palestine AND The Bad Roads... if Nancy Griffith and Willis Allen Ramsey had a child, it would be you!!! I write songs too, autobiographical, folky style, and would love to talk to you about songwriting. Your fan, Susan L.

Isn't a lingering impression the marker of good art? Your sweet voice plays over and over in my heart, warming, passionate, meaningful, and lingering. I'm so glad I heard your voice over the whine of my Miata as I drove by the cafe. I played your albums as I drove north through the San Juan mountains. The beauty outdoors seemed a fitting backdrop to the beauty of your music. Now that I've visited your website, I find my thoughts about you as a musician are shared by many. I wish you every good thing. Thanks for making a spot of joy and for bringing much nourishment to my soul.

I was blessed to have wandered in to Vino for your performance in Manzanita wednesday night. Anyone who curls and flexes their toes while hitting the big notes... well, bonus points for that. And you have excellent hands, Oaklahoma or Texas workin' hands evidently. I am enjoying your disk, and fondly rememembering the live set. Thanks for stopping at the coast for a just a small gig. I hope the coastal air was friendly to your voice. You were very much appreciated.

Ms. Herndon,
Love the name and love the music. Only bad side is when people google search me, you and your great voice pop up everywhere. Then people expect me to be a great singer like you, which sadly I am not.
Keep doing what you doing. I wish you the best in everything.
Sincerely,
Susan Herndon (Yes, that is really my married name)

Hello Susan,
Thank you so much for coming to the B-ville farmers market this morning and performing under some very inhospitable conditions. I have been listening to one of the CD's that I purchased and really enjoy it. You are a great songwriter and I hope you keep up the good work.
You really write from the root. I hope that you come back to visit us again or will catch you at OK Mozart.
Thanks again and good luck!

Congratz on the new website! Coming along nicely. You tell the web guy(z) I said to make sure they include the 'meta' tags in your code! ;) Frame sites are a bit more difficult to achieve high ranking in search engines. Hope to see you soon, Susan ... ~m
